New members on the ISU board

The board of the International Perennial Union (ISU) is now younger and more female following the regular re-election. ISU-Chairman Aad Vollebregt from the Netherlands did not stand for re-election after 12 years, as did Beate Zillmer from Germany and Michel Le Damany from France. The ISU members unanimously elected Jana Holzbecherová from the Czech Republic as the new ISU President and Doris Kampmann from Germany and Katharina Kress-Wallace from Austria as new members of the Executive Board.
Jonas Bengtsson from Sweden also relinquished his presidency of the ISU Trial Commission and the trial members unanimously voted for Ronald Houtmann from the Netherlands.
The Summer Days 2026 will be organized by the Swedish colleagues in Lund and 2028 by the German colleagues in the Hamburg area. Members will see exciting plants at the ISU botanical excursion in the Cévenne, France, in early summer 2025. The Future Days will take place in Vienna in the fall of the same year.
